Teresa Fields with Quickie Chicks Projects
An Ohio native who now lives in Indiana, Teresa Fields has been designing her own quilts for many years. This energetic quiltmaker is extremely creative and has so many great ideas for new quilting projects that she will be busy designing for years to come. Teresa is a wonderful quilting teacher, passionately sharing her ideas and skills with others.
Teresa designed the Sole Cool Hot Iron Bag after she attempted to take a hot iron safely home in her car at the end of a workshop. She was determined to solve this dilemma before her next quilt outing. And, she did! Her hot iron bag has been a hot seller ever since its inception. After designing this bag, Quickie Chicks evolved—a pattern line featuring easy, interesting, and quick projects for quiltmakers and sewers. Her Snap, Grab, & Go bag is a fantastic tote that provides great versatility. Besides the tote, this pattern includes a bonus matching quilt pattern. Each year you’ll be pleased to know that Teresa will have some enticing project for you.
We are really pleased that Teresa has joined the JWD Publishing team in other capacities too. Being a curious person, she is always on the lookout for great quilting/sewing products and interesting quilting activities. So, Teresa has become our chief quilting blogger. Also, Teresa is a valuable sales rep in the active quilting communities within Indiana.
